Journey In Thailand !
Day 1
13th August 2019 is our arrival day in Thailand. How lucky I was that I arrived on the same day as my faculty inauguration day celebration for the first day. When we arrive in the airport our Thai friends NICE, NAN and NUTTY pick up us to the TRU immediately.

After orientation day activities, we were invited by some Thai friends (Nice, Elf, Cartoon) to the "Wednesday market" near form Lopburi down town to adapt to the environment.

In 8 a.m. it is our orientation day in Satit Thepsatri demonstration school. We introduce our self in front of students, teachers, and tell about our subject that we will teach in this program.

Day 7
"Sunday Funday" in the we have a city tour, we visit to Ayutthaya province first and then to Singburi province. In the Ayutthaya province we fisit Wat Chaiwatthanaram temple rhen we went to Ayutthaya elephant show after that we have lunch in Ayutthaya floating market. For your information Ayutthaya is the first Capital City of Thailand. After we finish for lunch we went to Singburi province we visit Bang Rajun for see Thai drama about war between Thai empire and Burma (Myanmar) empire in the past time.

REAL TEACHING
Preparation Before Real Teaching |
After make a lesson plan, exchanged student uses it for the guidance of teaching. Every teacher should have a lesson plan, so their aim of teaching can be reached well. So do the exchanged student, based on their lesson plan they do their real teaching. At the first, exchanged student prepares all of the materials. In the real teaching, the exchanged student did not left by the mentor in class because the mentor have to asses the exchanged student because the real teaching is the assessment of the student exchange program.
The real teaching was done by Tactical Games Approach with reciprocal teaching style. Tactical Games Approach method can stimulate the students in a game like situation, with the advantages from reciprocal teaching style are include such things as the clarity of the task for everyone and the opportunity for feedback with each trial. This style makes the students assume responsibility for the learning of others, it should improve their communication skills, promote patience and tolerance, and develop analytical skills.
The real teaching is going on one class ( M 4/4 ) because in that day exchanged student practice, Monday 2nd September 2019, although the mentor has schedule in two classes which are M /4/3 and M 4/4, he just order to choose one class. In addition, after the mentor asses the exchanged student when doing real teaching, the mentor and exchanged student have to write the reflections in the lesson plan.

OBSERVATION and TEACHING ASSISTANT

Teaching Observation Situation |
In the first
week of the program, the exchanged students have teaching observation in their
mentor’s classes. Every student have a mentor
who can be a teacher and also a consultant for them about teaching in
the school, so every exchange students was given a different mentor and
different classes. In the teaching observation, exchanged student have to
observe the classes whether before the mentor has come. Then, the exchanged
student have to observe how the mentor teaches the students and how the the
situation of teaching process.
In order to
observe the class, the exchanged student just need to sit down in around the
class. However, in rest of weeks the exchanged student have schedule for
teaching assistant and one day for real teaching. Teaching assistant can be
done by helping the mentor teaching in classes. In that chance, every exchanged
student has different task which depends on the mentor. In my case, I was asked
for giving the students about the good techniques, according to the topics
discussed.

During those
weeks, exchanged students also arrange the schedule of real teaching with the
mentor and make the lesson plan also have consultation with mentor and the
coordinator of student exchange program of the school
MATERIALS
In the
Demonstration School of Thepsatri Rajabhat University, the teaching methods is
using Direct Instruction method with command and practice teaching style for
physical education class. At before teacher preapare the material before
teaching and give the explanation about the topics. After that give the command
to the students about the detail of the topics and give the chance to the
students to have a practice time during the lesson. That method have some
advantages of that styles are that they provide a very direct path to the
objective, as a result this gives the students a clear picture of how the
expected performance is to be attained.

LESSON PLAN
After deciding
the day of real teaching and knowing the topics that should be explained in the
real teaching, the exchanged student made the lesson plan based on the school’s
lesson plan format. The lesson plan must be accepted by mentor and the
coordinator of this project so that before the lesson plan was fixed, the
exchanged student have to consult their lesson plan to their mentor and coordinator
of this project.
TEACHING MATERIALS
Basically the subject that I teach is about Physical Education, my mentor was give a topic about badminton sport which the specific content about serve technique. So, that is my teaching material that I must prepare before class begin.
